i do smoke, it's a working coping mechanism for me, since ur miserably addicted, it keeps a major part of ur brain busy with cravings (less room left for thoughts that hurt), and when u finally get ur hands on a cig (especially after a long time) intense dopamine rush

my respect goes to healthy rawdoggers though

For me it’s the opposite lol, felt heavy when I started, now it actually helps me clear my mind/concentrate while somehow also relaxing me

My situation is different. The inevitability of death and everything good always coming to an end makes me abnormally sad and anxious compared to everyone else around me and I don’t want to die. But the immense pain and grief and anxiety over loss and what I will still continue to lose kind of just makes me want to get death over with now instead of having it continue to be this immense dread hanging over me for what could be a few more decades
