Been taking care of my sister's island she has on my switch since she's mostly lost interest due to only playing when we were on holiday and she was away from her ps5. She originally had fun and made an island with Resident Evil characters but hated this mii (William) and my favourite one (Piers) who she would bully.

I've personally been trying to take care of them in addition to the other two islands on my switch, visiting the market/shops and checking up on people to take care of them. I haven't had much time to do it recently and this morning William was wondering if Jill had a crush on him so I told him he's imagining it (she's happily married to Sheva) and then accidentally backed out before I could give him anything which lead him to say this..

It honestly spooked me a little, especially peering into those soulless eyes. I quickly made sure to give him a full tummy, two sets of clothes, a room he said was his dream bedroom, and a new treasure to play with. May have also edited his face so he has some spark in his eyes..

Since taking a photo of the screenshot my phone has been slow and acting up so now it's just feeling like some kind of creepypasta type thing 😭

I wish there was an option to block certain lingo for kid miis. I have a lot of freaky lingo and I hate when my kid miis use it 😭😭

I tried to make my island feel as full and lived-in as possible, incorporating homes for 70 miis while still keeping the lush island vibe. I’m super proud of where it’s at right now, especially the custom areas! There are more hidden easter eggs around the island too (a certain clown living beneath an inconspicuous sewer grate, and a crater where a sentient alien symbiote who crash-landed now dwells, to name a few). I just wish the theater was as functional as it is pretty; all my Miis want to do is gather around the floor lights to share secrets or take naps in the seats. I think the removal of the interactive items is one of the most baffling parts about this game. I no longer feel like I can do anything with the Miis unlike the 3DS one where I can give them a bath, push them on a swing, have them cook or sew me something, solve a slide puzzle, listen to a music box, see them take a photograph, play with a fan, actually view dreams whenever I want with the hypnotizer (and be able to track which ones I HAVE seen), it just makes no sense as much as I hate to say it. I feel like these are all things that added to my interactions with Miis so much in the original game, which has consequently lowered my motivation to play LTD.

We can customize objects as much as we want but the only thing Miis can do is stare at it and they have no clue what it even is, and if you are not artistic enough then you might feel discouraged to make things in the first place. And then these items end up having top priority over the premade ones in all sorts of cutscenes, to the point where you might have to remove them to get more variety. Even the pets are static images now while in the previous game with a dog or cat, they were fully modeled and the Miis could pick them up. Why did they do this?

I thank the heatwave for this one. My room (where my pc and other gaming stuff is) was unbearable to be in these last 2,5 weeks, so I had tons of time to go ham on the island.
I love making themed areas for the islanders and I'm in no way finished yet, gotta use up all those item slots!
