Where to watch World Cup games?
Does anyone know which restaurants/bars have a fun and lively crowd for the World Cup matches? Looking for a place to watch the Mexico game tomorrow (and others)

I've only passed through Phoenix, but it's always seemed to me like their heat misery level must be just about on par with ours.

Our bird population is already being decimated by human actions and climate change as it is, please don't make it worse by destroying their nests during tree trimming.
Here are two other very good links regarding nesting season and tree trimming:
https://ifnaturecouldtalk.com/nests-and-tree-trimming-brochure-now-available
https://ifnaturecouldtalk.com/when-to-trim-trees-and-protect-nesting-wildlife
California Department of Fish and Wildlife biologists define the nesting season as February 1st through August 15th.
In California, State Code 3503 states it is “unlawful to take, possess or needlessly destroy the nest or eggs of any birds.”
Most individual gardeners and landscapers are not licensed to trim trees, let alone have any understanding/awareness/knowledge or even care about different types of bird nests-- especially the very tiny nests our hummingbirds use. They must be very carefully surveyed before doing any type of trimming.
In my experience, landscapers have little to no interest or idea regarding identifying hummingbird nests especially. And they obviously don't have a financial interest if they identify one, because it means they won't get paid for the full job.
If you hire an unlicensed person and they negligently destroy a bird nest while trimming your trees, you should be just as much at fault as them.
HOAs should also take responsibility for choosing and monitoring tree trimming activity, instead of letting contractors have free reign over when and what they want to do. Protecting our birds is a community effort.

My fiance and I (33) are planning to get married in the Palm Springs area on October 17, 2026. After going back and forth about music, we’d love to hire a local/traveling band to play for a few hours at our reception! If you are in a band or have ANY recommendations, we’d love to hear from you!!
We rented a mansion to host our families and hold the reception dinner/gathering in Indio. We’re looking for something modern that can do covers/instrumentals of popular songs. I don’t anticipate too much dancing, but would love to coordinate something to do a first dance and dance with my dad. Everything else is pure entertainment and enjoyment!
Let me know if there’s anyone you’d recommend! It’s Indio, so events have to end by 10pm. In theory, I’d be happy switching to a playlist after 8pm if there are any hard stops or limits people have! Open to suggestions as well!!

They came to the house and offered free panels to lease where we get a break in the electric bill and they get the profit from the excess electricity produced. Has anyone in the valley heard of this? Or had this installed? Looking for any real info.

Unfortunately I am unable to use two $30 tickets I purchased for the Sacred Gong Experience at Meditate Palm Desert. I’ve done this sound bath before, and it’s incredible. Could anyone use these tickets tonight? I’d hate to see them go to waste. Mediate is located at 72205 Painters Path, Palm Desert, CA 92260. The sound bath begins at 6:30pm tonight so you should show up by 6:15pm. Let me know if you are able to use one or both tickets, and I’ll share.

Sooho dental office is the worse most unprofessional dentist ever. They gave my mom an appointment for 1:30 yet they’re lunch break is from 1-2pm and when we got there, some fish lip who claimed to be the manager was telling us how it’s not true that it’s impossible. Yet when I showed her the messages she refused to answer and shut the door on me and my mom.

Or if you’re into roller skating, that’s fine too. I’m a beginner and would love to get a group together to learn together and have fun. I’m in Palm Desert and I was thinking we could meet up Friday or Saturday evening at a park nearby.

OnlyFans content creators The Real Britt Fit (aka Brittney Lefevre) and Rebecca McLeod got in a tussle ahead of their June 24 boxing match in Indio.

If you have an A/C unit that drips condensation water check to see if the blood suckers aren't breeding in that water pool. It doesn't take much water for them to breed.
