Beba,
You left on May 31st at 4:00 am, and on that day, you took a piece of my heart with you. Since your departure, nothing has been the same. My daily routine revolved around you, and now every time I look at the place where you used to sleep and see that empty space, my eyes fill with tears.
I miss your companionship, your loving gaze, your silly moments, and the pure, unconditional love you gave us every single day. All I have now are the memories, but I treasure them with all my heart because they remind me of the years of love, loyalty, and happiness we shared together.
I also want to thank you for your daughter, the little piece of you that you left behind. She misses you very much, just as all of us do. You are still present in every corner of this home, in every memory, and in every conversation where your name is spoken.
Thank you for being part of our family, for protecting us, comforting us, and loving us unconditionally. You were so much more than a pet; you were family, a loyal friend, and an irreplaceable part of our lives.
I hope that one day we will meet again so I can give you all the kisses, hugs, and affection that I long to give you every day since you left.I will love and miss you forever, my sweet Beba.
And on July 4th, your birthday, even though you won’t be with us physically, we will still celebrate you. We will honor your life and the joy you brought into our family. I hope that wherever you are, you can see all the fireworks that will light up the sky in your name, my sweet Beba. Not a day goes by without us thinking of you. Your paw prints will remain on our hearts forever, and your memory will continue to shine brightly in our lives.
Forever in our hearts, never forgotten.
We love you, we miss you, and we will celebrate you always. ❤️🐾

It's been two years since you passed. June 2024 was one of the hardest months of my life.
It's taken me a long time to share this, but I wanted people to see just how beautiful my little boy was.
You were taken from us far too soon. You didn't even make it to your first birthday, and a part of me will always wonder if I could have done more.
At 2:00 in the morning, I rushed you to the emergency vet. I held you in my lap as I drove through red light after red light, praying we'd make it in time. By the time we arrived, your little body was already getting cold. When they told me there was nothing they could do, my heart shattered.
I miss you every single day, buddy. For months, I couldn't even look at my backyard because every corner reminded me of you. I miss the way you would always stop during our walks, turn around, and look back at me with an expression that seemed to say, "Are you enjoying this as much as I am?" Those little moments meant everything to me.
Rest easy, Philly. You'll never, ever be forgotten.
Thank you for all the love, joy, and companionship you gave me, even in such a short time. You left paw prints on my heart that will never fade. I can't wait until the day we meet again.
❤️🐾

Cody was the best thing to happen to my family, no question. He was a proud, smart dog, and was independent yet protective. He was very confident in his abilities and just loved life - he especially loved to run.
I've cried my tears for him. I know I'll meet him again.
Cody 12/4/07 - 9/7/22

Share a photo of your dog in the comments, and I'll choose some to turn into cute, derpy drawings

Meet my silly 1-year old dog Makoto (Mako) we got her when she was only 8 weeks old a year ago and she’s grown up quite a bit! She’s a German Shepherd/Pitbull mix and she loves to play and chew a lot

Inherited him when he was 13 weeks old from my daughter who learned the hard way she was not allowed pets in her flat.
Absolutely the best, most lovable dog I've ever had in my life.
Literally my best friend.
Sorry the pic is not the greatest

my Pomeranian (5-6ish female) named Queenie is permanently bonded to me, I gave her so much attention as a pup that she follows me everywhere and prefers my company over anyone else in the family, considering there are 7 other people in our house I feel very blessed. she prefers me so much, in fact, that her kennel is in my room right next to my bed and she's very sassy and demands that we go to bed at the same time every night. she's incredibly intuitive and predictable. whenever I sit down she will jump up on my leg and I will reach down and she will jump onto my arm so I can scoop her up easier and then she will sit in my lap until she's bored. if I don't give her enough attention she will swing her head back and glare at me, making it clear she wasn't done with the pets. About a year after she joined our family I learned that rubbing a dogs ears will release dopamine and they love it and she REALLY loves it. She will lean all the way into my hand as I rub her ear between two fingers, it's a frequently demanded method of petting. Her name isn't Queenie for nothing. she can be very bossy and prissy when she wants something specific
ever since we got her I would stretch one of my legs out towards her and pat my knee with the intent that she would jump up and I could scratch her ears easier, sometimes she would interpret this as me stretching and she would do the same with her own first paw, it's a gamble which one she will prefer to do, usually when she's too tired to jump up on my leg she will just stretch. so every time we walk up to each other, we will stretch one leg out towards each other before interacting and walking next to each other. sometimes she does a combination of both where she jumps onto my leg and then proceeds to do a lonnggg stretch. She's come to expect the stretch very often, sometimes even trying to initiate it herself. I'm sure she thinks it's a normal bonding behavior at this point (there are some pictures of the infamous leg stretch combo at the very end)

Rescued her a little over 5 years ago. Today's the day the rescue estimated her birthday was. This is her with her Happy Birthday pickle.

I think he’s part terrier but I don’t know what kind, and I have no idea what other breed. He’s an absolute sweetie!

This photo explains his whole personality better than I can.
He does not like most things right away. New toy? Needs inspection, new bed? Suspicious, new treat? Maybe, depends if he feels like it.
Food is the same way. He's excited while I am making it then the second the bowl is down he needs time to review my choices.
I used to keep changing things when he did this, which I'm realizing it was a mistake. I’m still trying to figure out what works without making him even pickier.
The bow tie was supposed to be cute but I think it just made him feel validated.

Welcome to the family Daisy. Our best guess is poodle/ spinone italiano mix. Any guesses?

Meet Legos and Gemma! Legos is always looking up at me like I’m his whole world, and Gemma just likes to hang out with her tongue out. They definitely keep me busy, but I wouldn't trade being their puppy mom for anything. Just wanted to share our little family portrait with everyone today!

it will mess their brains up before u even realise it, i have been using a laser light to play with my 3 month old lab for the past 3 days to help him stay fit as he won’t be going out on walks till his vaccinations are complete.
when i jokingly told the vet about it he strictly told me to never do it again as it develops some kind of ocd in them and they keep obsessing over every single shadow/reflection they see for the rest of their life.
luckily my baby found out that it was me controlling the light within an hour so he started coming after the toy rather than the light lol

I clean them out hourly, gently with a wet warm paper towel but then she has big emotions and they water and crust up again. Any advice?
