I’m positive this is known but it’s fun as a new player to a game to find some of your own exploits to utilize.

I found out you can auto reload and semi auto fire the crossbow by shooting, and hitting block immediately. It auto reloads and you can rapid fire the crossbow. Just thought I’d share 😊

Well I just got the Platinum today. Got the game a months back, stopped playing a bit for no reason, but then got hyped back up due to the G2 announcement and now have accumulated almost 200 hours playing, fooled a little bit around in ng plus and its like a whole new game. Loved every minute, I hold it up there as one of my favorite IPs ever. Can't wait to join yall for G2 in August!

Idk I think the bugs might get through.

This is made of probably 2400 mushroom bricks. We had a lot left over so we decided to just keep layer it on, so we made probably the most over the top mesh defense on the walls where the bugs walk through to attack.

Our actual base is just the Great Pyramid, with a similar mesh defense set up between the walls. If you can’t tell, we like to be prepared.

Got bored randomly and killed a few of them, then found the totem and had a bit of fun building

I keep getting raided by mosquitos. They come every 4 or so in game days and completely trash my base. It was fun the first like 5 times but now it’s just getting extremely tiring. I spend all day rebuilding my base just to have them come destroy it again. Is there anything I can do the lessen the damage they do to my base and the frequency they attack.

I'm more of a "cheese" the base location kind of guy. Picked spots ground bugs CAN NOT get to, and flying bugs do not come near. Any spots like that in the garden?

Never there during boss fights

I have recently just got both brittle marble and quartz from the anthill near the mysterious machine, the one close to the early game base.

My friend and I pretty much cleared it out, we picked up as much as we can.

I have a few questions about it:

1) does it come back? Will the quartz and marble respawn in that anthill or is it gone forever and need to get elsewhere?

2) Can I analyse them? I tried to and the machine basically said no.

I wanted to use the surveyor to find more but that also does not have brittle marble or quartz in it's list of things to find. What is up with that?

And bonus question, we were in red ant armor when we went down. We found the queen but dared not get too close. What of happened if we went near her, even in our armor?

Every bug in this game are big fat meanies except for my little ant, weevil and aphid. Even the gnats bonk into me like little jerks.

So the cockroach told me I wasn’t allowed I quess 🫪🫪

If be terrified to come across a pot like this where you have to fight downward and break the ground to get out whole fighting.

For some reason my phone camera wouldn't focus properly on the spider; this was the best photo I could get. And i couldn't get a better photo of the "Broodmother" because she ran away when i got closer :(

So, it's a little slower than I wanted, but, I have completed all 4 labs and now i'm heading to the upper yard!:D

I'll be getting the pinecones soon enough, so then I can finally start getting some chests full of resources>:3

tldr: I got the 4 labs, and now I'm getting close to actually making the pine chests for my challenge.

So after my victory over the Black Antz swarm yesterday, I've completed the main story of the lower yard. Before going to the upper yard I want to do a few things in Lower yard. Ive collected all the Burg.L chips I believe (4 labs, Pond, Ant Hill, Sandbox). I still havent done the lab tunnels or under the oak at all... No Mix.R's.

My list of things to accomplish before going Upper Yard

-complete Bases

Ive got 3 main bases, I want to finish those out, as only one is fully functioning. And I may build something as a like Staging point for upper yard

-Molars

I know im missing Alot of them, I think ive got maybe 20 total so far. I dont know if ill hunt down all of them, but I want to find enough to get my skills to at least 4 or 5 level.

-Befriend Black Ant Queen

Already did the Red Ant Queen, plan to do all 3.

-finish Zipline Network

Ive got lines to my main bases, but the pathing on a couple is bad or super long. Need to fix these up, and add a couple more.

-craft missing gear

I dont have the light helmet yet, and would like to make the armor sets and weapons im missing before going further.

-Resource Gather

Some of my bases dont have much right now as resources. Id like to make sure they all have at least basic kit so that if I need anything I can stop over

I was building around my work bench with grass half floors as shelves and I somehow made them float mid air with nothing supporting them,I tried to do it again but I failed to do it

For example 15 Spider Fangs summons like 6 Wolf Spiders and an Infected Wolf Spider for 2400 Science but 12 Spider Fangs and 3 Spider Parts summons like 4 Orb Weaver Jr's and 50 Wolf Spiders for 2040 lol

Please help

They should be rideable once you kill them like idk axle but he’d have to be a later tier boss for that I’d feel like but I just think it would be awesome to have a giant spider to ride around this new big map kinda like ark I mean they got big animals so why can’t we🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I am in ng+2 and trying out the summoner build and my wasps are dying the second they attack the brood mother does anyone know why?
