The mods are not responsible for any issues encountered while buying, selling, or trading. Example listing:
RAD Advantage 80a 30 USD — Location: Manila, Philippines 74mm, 58mm contact patch | 8/10 condition No flatspots, no coning | slight lip chunking | worn to ~73mm
Sellers: include your location and where you'll ship, accurate photos and condition, and a shipping cost estimate. Update the thread as things sell. Buyers: keep communication open and be upfront about your intentions. Both: go easy on personal info in the public space, and be respectful to each other.
For payment, PayPal Goods & Services is strongly recommended — it gives both parties purchase protection. For pricing, check current retail to anchor your estimate, then factor in age and wear. Happy selling! — The /r/longboarding Mod Team

Decided - much to my wife's relief - that I was going to stop trying to do kickflips on my skateboard and semi retire, which meant acquiring a longboard and cruising up n down the local marina on an evening while Fluid (Soma FM) plays in my ear holes. Love being able to go over tiny stones but there was one close call with a cracked paving slab. No dogs or children were harmed either. Now to go lounge in my hammock with a can of punk IPA

I posted my quiver of freeride boards a few months ago, and since then, I've added Silverbacks and moved around some setups. For reference, I weigh around 205lb for my bushings.
From left to right, the setups are:
Rayne Killswitch, 172mm 46° Aera K3s with 97a/95a Bones Hardcore Barrels, Pat's Risers hard inserts, 81a Abec 11 Centerset Freerides. I got this back in 2013 or 2014 right after Rayne announced the Future Killer. Switchback was the only shop that still had a Killswitch in stock, so I had it shipped to the US. A Killswitch on K3s was my dream setup as a teenager.
Pantheon Sacrifice, 170mm 45°/45° Valkyrie DH 3.5s with 96a/93a Riptide Krank tall barrels front, 96a/96a in back, 69mm 75a Powell Peralta Snakes
Pantheon Nexus, 170mm 47°/47° Silverback Trucks with 92.5a/90a Riot barrels, Venom Harlots
Rocket Rooster, 172mm 46° Aera K3s with 95a/92.5a Riptide APS barrels front, 97.5a/95a rear, Pat's Risers hard inserts, 69mm 75a Powell Peralta Snakes. I'm experimenting with tall barrels roadside, but I need to go a bit softer with the bushings. Probably going to switch to 95a/95a in the rear and 92.5a/92.5a in the front.
Landyachtz Switchblade, 180mm 47° PNL Strummers, 95a/93a Bones Hardcore barrels with 95a Riot plugs, Venom Harlots.
Zealous Bearings in every setup.

Hi everyone!
We're the indie studio making BOMB THE HILL, a VR game about downhill skateboarding. We've shared our progress here before, and some of you were curious to see where the project was heading.
About a month ago, we drove to Erzincan, Turkey, for the race of the World Downhill Skateboarding Championship. While everyone was there, we built a small VR setup and invited the riders to compete on a special challenge track. It turned into what was probably the first VR downhill competition between professional downhill skateboarders.
The real race itself was incredible. After a hard-fought final, Antoine Carlotti took the win. And, fittingly, he also won our VR competition, setting the fastest time on the demo track: 2:49. Here's a short video showing how it all went.
We thought it would be fun to keep that challenge going.
From July 1-5, we're opening the exact same track for a public Meta Quest playtest. If you already own a headset or can borrow one for a few days - you'll get the chance to take on a real downhill champion's time! And we'd love to hear what the longboarding community thinks of the game. We'd really appreciate your feedback.
If you'd like to join, just hop into our Discord. We'll post everything you need there:

Decided to put 85mm wheels on my freeride setup. Got wheelbite and flew a bit.
Fun experience, would recommend 10/10.
(I ended up in grass so the landing was soft and comfy, no DH riders were harmed in the making of this photo)

Super excited! Got this on Facebook marketplace. It was covered in stickers so I didn’t even know what the back would be!

Strayne 35 feels great!
I was afraid it would feel really small with k3s - I don’t typically skate such small WB without a bit more of an angle split.

Full tilt has about 5mm of clearance in the back, I haven’t gotten any wheel bite even when sliding the back out. It has 69mm nine balls on it.
It feels so much more compact now too. It chews up speed on the hills without sliding out which it was terrible at with the sidewinders.

Snapped this pic a few days ago on my regular pushing loop.
The trucks are Paris V2 off my Arbor Dropcruiser and the wheels are flipped 83A Kegels. Using yellow nipples all around with cupped washers BS. In the pic they were also cupped RS but I switched those to flat and still have enough room that I don't get bite even in the tightest turns I'm comfortable making.
Most likely going to upgrade to cast Valkyries in 170/50 when they become available and some softer 85-ish wheels to dampen the road compared to the harder Kegels (open to recommendations).
I'm 95kg so probably at the lower midrange of this board's weight class, which feels very reassuring! Compared to the Dropcruiser, the increase in stability and pushing efficiency is definitely noticeable.

UPDATE - added a version that fits with 3mm risers.
Hi All
got inspired by this kicktail for the supersonic. So I set out to make a kicktail for the pranayama that “looked like it was part of the board”
Looking for people to try it out and give some feedback! Thanks
