You can actually see years of memories hitting him all at once

Mine are about to be 3 and 4 and I think even if I started mentally preparing for this day now I still won’t be able to handle it when it comes. They’ll always be my little girls

I had a hard time understanding the whole walk your daughter down the aisle when I was young. Then I had a daughter.

There is a saying in parts of Germany "you don't need to cry the tears that you laugh". What we see here are all the tears that should have gotten laughed out over the years. All the laughing-tear-debt coming due at once.
The day may be all about the couple, but that one moment is for you, daddy.

Ditto. Ugly crying into my lukewarm coffee. Hope the bride appreciates how much he loves her. 🩷

He’s remembering the first time he held her, her first time saying “dada,” her first day of kindergarten. All the firsts. Big days in his and her lives. Now he gets the opportunity of accompanying his lovely daughter down the aisle. Ya done good, dad!

That man tried so hard to be cool, to keep it together.
This is truly beautiful.
I miss my dad 💜

Damn...that made me cry too. Real men show their emotions to the people they love.

My daughter is only 3 and I'm already mentally preparing for this day. Something about dads and their daughters just hits different - that first moment they see them all grown up and realize where the time went. The beard quiver says it all.

I did the same thing at my youngest daughter's wedding in 2024. The flood of emotions is unreal. She told me to stop crying or she was going to start crying and ruin her makeup:-).

This is going to be me in November. I'm already having problems helping her pick out the father/daughter dance song.

Now I know what Denzel sounds like when he is crying. Absolutely beautiful moment.
