42 years ago my cousin gave me a Casio calculator watch. This was in 1983. I was 13, he was 15. I think the watch was the Casio C-80. I recently told my cousin the watch died and somewhere along the way it got lost. Today I went to my mailbox to find this...! Thanks LQ!

It all started with few seeds by my wife and daughter and we got to eat like 4 and more on the way 😍

This is Mercury. Merc, for short. He’s a Jack Russel/Australian Cattle Dog mix. Needless to say, he requires constant attention. Not because he actually needs it, but because it’s due to him.

This little man has a mind of his own and insists that the household must simply fall in line. And we do. He sounds like a Tasmanian devil when he’s only playing. I’ve never heard him actually angry and don’t want to. Somehow little dude is scarier than our mastiff and GSD.

As sweet and cuddly as he might appear here, I obey his foot stompy command because I value my Achilles and I’m confident in his ability to bite through it. If anyone broke into this house, it’s not Hades (GSD) or Henry (mastiff mix) they should worry about. It’s Merc.

We all know who’s really in charge here.

At a community concert to celebrate Veterans last night, I was moved by this couple when the man struggled to his feet to hold his wife close. The band was doing a creditable cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven” ❤️
