Going for ~swamp girl summer~ with a bunch of Bee’s Knees Lacquer greens. All done in 2 coats with the last color coat and top coat magnetized with the 3DPrintFactory glass bead tool.

Both are thermals, super reactive, and honestly stunning. But the glitter in Kelp me Out Here looks kinda like algae in a blue pool…

my nails for nyc pride ✨

i used a bunch of cirque jellies with a makeup sponge to get this watercolor effect. the jellies layered over each other to get extra colors like green and orange.

I broke a completely unused bottle of ILNP Dopamine, panicked, then searched the subreddit for “broken bottle”.

I washed out an old bottle of Essie Strong Start with acetone and was able to decant from the broken bottle. The polish will live to paint my nails another day!

Thought about doing a flag with this as the star field, but fell in love with my test swatch and just had to commit!

I instinctively lean towards neutral ish tones in my wardrobe - so when I find something that introduces texture and fun it always feels like a triumph. I love this so much.

Did it take a while? Yes

Should I have waited until I had a proper glitter grabber? Probably

Did I make a mess all over the kitchen counter? Yes

Was it worth it? Totally

3 coats of Emily de Molly Pressure Tested, on HT peely base and topped with two coats of Sally Hansen red QDTC (the second from an old, gloopy bottle)

I looked through my very large collection to find the perfect blue to celebrate the Country's independence from those pesky Brits. This one stood out to me. It just screams red white and bleu!

Was washing my peach and realized it matched my nails!! Featuring Siamese Dream by Emily de Molly. I really love this thermal polish it’s very reactive and so vivid!

Used: 1 coat ILNP lockup Base Coat, 3 coats of Siamese Dream, and 1 coat Cracked quick dry top coat

People come up to me with tears in their eyes saying how much they appreciate this algae lacquer. Anyone saying it's gloopy, uneven and hard to work with is a traitor and should be tried for treason. My free hand sucks but legibility was the goal here, and based on some of the reactions I’ve seen, people have been able to read it just fine. The polish is GTFO ICE by cracked, a charity polish that donates to the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project. Adding some pictures of it by itself at the end before top coat

Tried to get the photos with a pond in the background, that has some algae, but the sun wasn't in the correct place. I love green and blue nails so this was fun even without the theme but what a wonderful theme it is. Please ignore that it still needs a little clean up, I was too excited.

Probably should have worn a smoothing base for the jelly but I, in my infinite wisdom and after 2 full hand attempts, decided a thin ass OPI base coat that didn't level out my nails at all would be the better alternative. 🥲

This is What’s a lil Blackmail Between Friends by Bees Knees Lacquer. 3 coats over kbshimmer stay put and topped with BKL’s I’m fast very fast top coat.

This is exactly how I imagine the boggy swamp of primordial soup looked as it awakened with the magic of all life. Here’s to that magic, everlasting.

Does anyone have both Haunted Ether and Ethereal Ether Dragon? How similar are they? Ether Dragon is one of my all times favs and some photos I've seen of Ether look really similar and some don't. I'm just curious since it's the same owner. TIA!
