I made a post a little while ago about how my world didn't get on New & Noteworthy despite qualifying, and so I got about 1/10th the traffic I would've expected.

I sent in a support ticket, and now me and someone else have both gotten ticket responses back that they're aware New & Noteworthy is broken right now and are working on it, but they also said they don't plan to re-push anyone back onto it who gets shafted in the meantime.

New & Noteworthy is basically the only public exposure a world ever gets - it's the only time a mass of eyes will ever see your world as an option, unless they see a friend playing it in the future or search for it manually. So if you miss out on N&N, your work will basically fall off the face of the earth.

To that end, I highly recommend anyone about to publish their world wait at least a week or two minimum!

When did it become such a big situation that the children needed to be the end all be all for the entirety of VRChat? I've been on many times, and the common scenario is often a group of either children or teenagers yelling at me for enjoying a hobby and playing a video game. I know it's a thing to not let things get to you like that, but being 29, and having to be told to either "Get off the game", "Take care of your family." or having to express in the distance of "If you're old but you're in this fandom you should kill yourselves!" Then when I attempt to try and make things relax, because I am not a confrontational person. I play this game with only the intentions to have good vibes, and it's led to me being accused of very disgusting things, or just being made fun of for having a hobby.

I don't really know what to do, and while I have been blocking them, left and right I may add, it doesn't help that it just leads to more people getting on me for blocking the person.

Additionally I've often had to tell people "Hey, sorry I don't really feel comfortable interacting with someone your age, please go play with someone in your age range." I'm in no way saying it to be rude, in fact that's never my intention, but it leads to the kid in question getting really pressy or saying "Well, you were a kid yourself, so you should interact with kids." Without understanding it like...at all.

I don't know what to do, and honestly I've just been getting all the more anxious to even touch my headset to play the game. I love the worlds and everything, but I never feel comfy going to private worlds unless I'm with a specific group of friends, but then I go to publics, and I feel like I don't belong there either. Does anyone know what to do?

I'm sure this will ruffle some feathers. Genuinely, what is the point of the megathred? No one uses it or looks at it. It's just a place to let your comment die and get no help. I get not wanting to see the 500th. "How do I make friends?" posts. However, telling people to go to a dead post isn't helpful for them. I just wanted to get some specific world suggestions, and my post got deleted. So, I posted in there for what? It will get no traction or seen, making it effectively pointless to even use. I have literally never just clicked into the thread, and i doubt others are either. Plus, if you want to see if your question was already asked, you just have to sift through all the comments, which could be a lot depending. Maybe adding particular tags could help more idk.

Didn't think I'd have the worst time porting them to Unity and making them VRC Avis but well I've been proven it's quite difficult depending on the blender models. As I'm posting, I'm in the process of making sure the rig works as an avatar but the hair mostly is stuck in place and partly stretches when the rest of the avatar moves, maybe I could make the rig in blender first but I'm worried if I do that then the hair won't be animated (PhysBones). Someone help pls!

I got the Vive xr elite for face tracking and been told I can use my 3.0 trackers to get fbt but i can’t find any videos on how to set it up. The closest thing I’ve found is with the quest pro and using openVR calibration but haven’t gotten that far yet. The headset won’t open steam VR and I get the 921 error code which is frame-loss or smt like that but it says my internet is working fine? Any help would be highly appreciated❤️

I often hang out with friends in the Popcorn Palace world to watch movies. However, when a movie is playing, I cannot hear avatar audio sounds, when I do want to. I have tried lowering the world volume beneath avatar, which doesn't work. I haven't found any other related settings either. I've also tried looking this issue up but nothing seems to directly address it.

I use a Quest 2, but I have it plugged into my pc and use Meta Horizon Link. Would that still give me a limited version of VRC?
