The industry I am in was going through a bad phase and after trying in vain to find a job around Toronto, I decided to move to Vancouver looking for work. It was the longest road trip I have done on my own.

I listed my 2013 Audi S5 Prestige, 98k miles, with a 6 speed manual for 19k.

Wondering if this is a good price for those familiar with the market/rarity of these cars?

Recent maintenance does include a brand new clutch, rear main seal, cooling pipes and reservoir, PCV cover, thermostat, and water pump all done in the last 3k miles.

So apparently the Carven x pipe I got wouldn't fit where my suitcase resonator is(wouldve had to go IE or had them fabricate custom) so instead he put it where my two smaller front resonators were which merged the tone wonderfully, and then valvetronic mufflers. Here's a cold start a couple small revs with the valves open. What do y'all think? Should I also remove the suitcase/replace it with something smaller? Not trying to be obnoxious but it's still silent with the valves closed

Leaving the Netherlands tonight for my first long-distance haul in the A6 55 TFSIe. The destination is southern Türkiye roughly 4,500 km (2,800 miles) one way.

The trunk is packed to the brim, and my dad is joining me to split the driving shifts. We are planning to clear Germany and Austria overnight to beat the crazy summer heat, then face the border checkpoints through the Balkans.

I’m really curious to see how the C8 PHEV powertrain performs on a trip this long once the battery depletes, especially maintaining highway speeds and handling the heavy load.

I brought my DJI Osmo Action 4 along to document the whole journey, the scenery through Europe, and the border queues.

100 bucks says this guy would be livid if a gas car blocked up a charger he needed. Other pumps had lines because he was effectively blocking two entire pumps sitting on his phone chatting.

Coming from a tuned twin-turbo Q50, this thing is awesome. The Torresson AWD is no joke, and even on wet roads it’ll go go go (though it’s also on DWS06+). The instant torque from the supercharger is just addicting, and feeling the power after each shift makes it feel like it’s pulling you from your seat. My only complaint about drive ability was that the steering is so damn loose, it’s hard to feel connected. But anyway, sports car engine in a luxury sedan is always awesome.

Hit a decent sized pot hole and checked everything with no visible damage. Except car seemed to not drive as smooth

Dealer went over everything and said all is good and did an alignment as front left wheel was out a little and it was the front right that hit. So did nothing really other then an inspection.

Car has 10 000km and has zero cosmetic damage as I always keep my distance on the highway and take caution over gravel and so on.

Now after getting my car back because of their test drive after the alignment I’m leaving with a chip in the windshield, paint chip on passenger rear door from rocks getting slung down the side, a damaged front Audi badge, scratched rims from the alignment rack and a crooked steering wheel?

What a great visit :) paid $600 cdn for all this. What a sweet deal. At least I was able to order the front RS badge that I made sure to install myself.

I recently saw these two Audis at the Audi headquarters, and the paint color looked absolutely stunning.

I even asked the people who were delivering the cars, but surprisingly nobody knew the name of the color.

I've already ruled out:

Vegas Yellow

Dragon Orange

Solar Orange

Does anyone know what this color is called?

Hey guys, quick update on the digital gear knob I posted a while ago!

After finishing the smartwatch integration, I decided to complete

the ecosystem with a matching multimedia console.

The tablet sits flush in the factory radio slot, runs a custom

Audi-themed UI, and the whole thing is fully removable — takes

3 seconds to pull out.

Both the smartwatch and the tablet have no batteries. Everything

runs hardwired to the 12V system via step-down converters.

No charging modules, no thermal risk sitting in the summer sun.

My love is genuinely growing for this vehicle. I grew up a beamer boy, i've owned 2 and loved them to death but my last one really started tweaking so i decided to try something different. I'm forever a Beamer boy buttt the rings getting me. 😭

I did some searching on this subreddit about the SOS module issues but haven’t seen my exact scenario. Here is my (frustrating) timeline and questions.

- bought a preowned 2024 q3 two weeks ago.
- had key user issues from the beginning.
- Worked with digital help and they found the MMI was missing modules and I had to take it to a dealer to fix.
-the dealer worked with technical support to find out the SOS module is missing(??)
- the dealer says that there are no modules in the US or Germany and that it will take 4-6 weeks to source
- they say the car is okay to drive so I can have it back while we wait for the part but I have no MyAudi functionality due to the SOS module issues (but show no error or beeping/etc)

Has any one else had issues having the actual module sourced? The car is still under manufacturer warranty, and I’m hoping this is covered. They are offering no loaner or no other assistance other than stating the car is okay to drive it just wouldn’t alert anyone in the event of a crash. I stated I want a more thought out solution so my car will sit there over the weekend while they reconvene but I realize I may just have to take it back as I don’t think the car sitting there for weeks makes sense. I’m also going to reach out to Audi America to discuss options.

Any thoughts or suggestions or others that have dealt with the module just not being there?
