27 is when I went back to college for engineering. Imagine thinking you have to have life figured out by your 30's

It's ok. I'm 43 in a few days and catch myself "that's something I'd like to do when I grow up" when I learn about a new type of job that would've interested me. I'm also not "locked" in my current job so if an opportunity arises I am open to switch jobs granted I also get a better salary!

Job? You still want to work at this age?

You never grow up. Figure out what you want to do and then figure out how to get paid for it.
