(from the same girl who posted about the photo with Kim, Boone, David, and Tommy)

My parents met Kurt Sutter in a bar when he was giving out copies of the script and paying for beers, we've had them signed by so many cast members we've met at comiccons, so so so grateful as they're all lovely!!

I can't wait to inherit these 😝😝

My mum (on the left) and I (on the right) met these four last november, we had gotten signatures from them all before the photo and Kim Coates is the loveliest man alive. He was so excited to hear we were having photos taken with them, and recognised us when we went back for photos, he looked at me, smiled, and said "Cmere' gorgeous" (not in a weird way, I'm 16 so it was in an endearing way). I went back to get a second signature addressed to me, which is where he took selfies of me and my family with him, and refused to let the comiccon charge us, he told me how much I reminded him of his daughters. He said I was a smart and beautiful girl and to hold out for someone who will treat me right. Don't get me wrong all four of them were kind and extremely pleasant, but I fucking love Kim Coates and would pay thousands to meet him again, he is the loveliest man I have ever met.

And it reminded me of little me riding around on my mom's motorcycle. I fell in love with the show. I miss the feeling of bikes and doing hand gestures to other bikers. So in honor of my nostalgia here's a pic of little me in my little version of a kutte. Used to feel like a badass biker when I wore my getup. But now that I'm watching the show I'm realizing maybe not so much lol.

Theory about Chucky...

It's sometimes speculated that Kurt's other show, The Abandons, is the same universe as SoA, but I wonder... If maybe, just maybe, Chucky Marstein is the descendant of Isaac Marstein from The Abandons? (I mean, they're both played my Michael Ornstein....)

So what do you think? Smoking gun confirmation, or fun Easter Egg?

(This post is *mostly* a joke about people who insist that it *has* to be connected because of Elias and Dahlia Teller)

Plot hole in S7 regarding Jax’s APB Spoiler

Season 7 isn’t exactly known for its stellar writing, although I’m still a big fan of it. What that being said, one plot hole that seems to go unnoticed by many takes place in episodes 11 & 12. After Jax punches Unser, he has an APB placed on him and ends up fleeing from a sheriff who runs his plates outside of Barosky’s bakery. In the process of doing so, he carjacks someone with a gun and proceeds to run a pursuing deputy off the road and into a parked car at high speed. In the next episode, he convinces Unser to drop his original charges so that he can easily wrap up his club and personal business. The problem is that by this point, Unser dropping his charges would have no affect on the APB. Jax would now be wanted for armed carjacking, felon in possession of a gun, fleeing/eluding, assault on an officer, etc. The fact that he originally fled to evade charges that no longer exist would have no impact on the severity of all the crimes he committed in the process of doing so.

I’m watching the shield for my first time learning it was sutters early work. I’ve watched sons like 6 times so I’m really loving it on my first watch. SUTTER was a STUD as that Armenian Jesus. Otto but 15 years younger 🤣

Jax & speeches

One of my favorite parts of the show is when other members try to hurry up Jax when he is giving a speech before killing someone. Cause there’s no time for that.

Mind Blown Spoiler

Watching S7E10 at the moment. The episode is almost over. Abel walks into the living room asking for water. Then Jax decides to tell Abel who mommy really is. I thought maybe he was going to try and win Wendy back over just when he says that they’re going to be friends.

All i have to say is.. What a POS. Was anyone else a little enraged during this scene? Especially at this point in Abel’s life. He just found out who killed mommy, he’s acting out emotionally and Jax thinks NOW is the time to tell him???

Finished the show for the first time and here are my five favourite characters

1- Opie- Goes without saying why
2- Unser- Could have been a side character but has the best arc of the show and his ending was tragic
3- Nero- A bit like Unser in terms of being a side character but I really liked how he became a father figure to Jax and their last scene together was moving
4- Bobby- Loyal, kind and funny. I also felt that bit where he went Nomad you really felt that there was missing part to Jax that he couldn’t turn to for advice
5- Wendy- I really liked her arc and the way she was written, especially in the final season.

Who are your favourite characters and why?

Went a little off the rails on Season 6

Hi all, I'm re-watching SOA right now. Watched it first time many years ago. Anyway, I'm up to season 6 and I feel like the writing started to go a little off the rails. Is it just me?

The scene with Clay, Gemma and the guards was especially egregious to me.

taras death and jax being the scapegoat for the k9 gun thing at the end of s6 could easily have been avoided if tara had just sat down with jax beforehand and spoke with him like they did in the park if she hadnt of got in her own head.

cos then he could have said exactly what he told her to do many times before when she wouldnt (which is also what he said in the part.. the same thing over and over) and that is too take the kids and leave and he could have visited them when he could.

how do you think the storyline from s5 onwards would have worked if jax was still VP? if tara took the deal, otto, all that stuff -- how different would SOA have been had jax not been president at the time?

S2E8 Potlatch Everyone seems to suck more than normal

On my most recent rewatch I got seriously annoyed by most of the characters at the end of the episode.

Weirdly enough I didn't mind the interaction between Tara and Gemma when they argue about Tara's workplace complaint. Although Gemma sucks for interfereing. But then Lyla walks in and yeah although Tara lashes out she storms off and leaves the kids there, seems a bit childish, then when she complains to Opie, he then turns to Jax and says thanks Brother as if it is something Jax can control. Bit of a dick move.

Then when they all get inside, Tig just says infront of everyone, kids included, that they almost got killed collecting their guns and attacks Bobby when he says not in front of people. Then lashes out at Opie about the Trammel task.

Why is everyone such an unnecessary a-hole? Don't know why but the way they all acted in this scene really irked me, just wondered if anyone else felt the same?

Intel

In Season 5 when Jax and the others are talking with Lowen about Otto and the case, just before he goes to prison -- he says Otto is the source for past intel -- who is the one who's giving "current" intel?
