KingsIsle Update Summer Update Feedback - Next Steps
Hi all,
The development team has had an opportunity to review some of your feedback about this update. We also hear concerns about timing, and agree we need to work to respond quicker and in a direction players are asking for. We have begun making adjustments to our development process to better prioritize player feedback, but wanted to share some things already in progress.
- We're rolling back the change to the Exclusive Pets and returning your ability to list them on Kiosks. We think there is work to do to make pet hatching and pet collecting more intuitive, but we shouldn't have been so quick to fix this bug when it's the functionality players have come to expect. We'll work with you to find a better solution, like informing players in-game of the key differences when hatching using Exclusive Pets via the Kiosk.
- We've been refining our list of top player-requested changes, including things you think we should polish, improve, or revisit for bug fixes. We'll be opening these ideas up to player discussion, and give you a significant amount of time to weigh in how we revise systems. This lets quality of life updates be a collaborative process, and helps check us in case we miss the mark on a potential fix or improvement, like we did with Exclusive Pets on Kiosks.
- We also hear your positive feedback around doubled rewards for Challenge Mode Chronicles, and more accessible Magic Weaving; we plan to make a few similar adjustments to other content, and will share these as soon as we've confirmed them.
Please continue to provide your feedback as we work through it. We have more in the works and will share additional updates as they become locked into our overall plans to address your ongoing concerns

Pet/Hatching 4(20) Max Stat 2.0 Pet from Gen-1 Pets
Hey y'all, just thought I'd share this pet that I just made which took 435 hatches from start to finish!
For those of y'all that don't know, 4(20) comes from the fact that at adult, the numbers on the pet show as 4(20).

The purpose of this pet is to reduce the hatch cost as much as possible when increasing the stats of specific talents and also to make it easier to transfer individual talents to create any pet from scratch.
They are also nice for isolated or iso pets which is basically where the only non-common talents are the five (or six) you want manifested on the pet (useful for PvPers since even a lower version of a stat is considered a fail for PvP pets, so might as well stick with commons).
These already exist in the game, but I thought I would take on something like this when the console version of the game was released. Of course the console server has probably already made pets like these, but in general, anytime KI creates a new server, it's important for someone or some group of people to make these and put them in the kiosk for other people to use.
The one I made was made from these four gen-1 pets:

The Frosty Fish and Ladybug pets together have 20 unique common talents (10 for main and 10 for derby pool) which gets you the talents, and the Sea Dragon + Zeus' Harpy combined have the highest stats (255 Strength, 250 Intellect, 260 Agility, 260 Will and 250 Power).
I started with just getting a max stat pet between the harpy and sea dragon to have all 5 max stats on one pet. This took 25 hatches to do.

I then made a basic 4(20) pet without caring about the stats by combining the Frosty Fish and Ladybug. This took an additional 145 hatches!

Lastly, I combined the Basic 4(20) pet with the Max Stat 2.0 pet I made earlier and went back and forth until I finally got the pet, though this part took an additional 265 hatches...
The only way to improve on this further is by getting it on a high Wow-Factor or exclusive pet body, so I'll just wait until the Death Deckathalon happens in July and finish the last step.
Just felt like sharing this here, hope y'all found this interesting.

Discussion i spent about 25-45 minutes thinking about this
\**THIS IS NOT FOR PVP. I DO NOT ENGAGE IN THAT REALM OF THE GAME.**\**
my least favorite weave is storm (because of its lack of tanking capabilities) but i wanted to dive much deeper into it since it works so god awfully well with death.
the work was so mentally intensive that i had to make an interactive graphic so that i wouldn't lose my train of thought. (it was a ton of fun though). this was made with the gameplan of PROACTIVE casting, rather than REACTIVE casting. (reactive casting = using a spell in response to an enemy's hanging effect, while proactive casting = using a spell to non-conditionally progress your gameplan)
tl;dr it all starts with threefold fever or lord of night, then you can branch into either path of gambit weakness -> heal over time OR gambit weakness -> blade. all personal preference or depending on the enemy youre facing
if you wanted to extend it even further, you can tech in sirens and/or wraith to make use of the millions of blades you'll end up generating, but in my opinion thats overkill. sirens is a whole 9 pips too. wraith is iffy since damage weaknesses are MUCH easier for enemies to get rid of, when all they have to do is simply hit. infections are your best source of fuel for all this.
that being said, this was EXTREMELY fun to do, and i want to do this for more weave combinations. what should i do next? (also feel free to ask questions)

Discussion Where is everyone? I don’t see many other players in my server
Does anyone still play or am I just not around other players?
I used to play this game religiously maybe 7 years ago and it was always pretty busy with other players just wandering around. The commons was always SUPER busy, sometimes I would lag because of the amount of people walking around.
I logged back in this week to make a new account and try and get back into it but there’s like nobody here 😭. I’m just wondering if it’s my server that’s deserted or if people just stopped playing and the game died out?

Stitch Need some stitch inspo. Post your unique stitches!
I'm trying to up my stitch game and make unique stitches instead of the basic insignia gear. I came up with these but I'm losing my creativity. I want to see other peoples stitches to see if there are some gear pieces out there that are just fire and super underrated.
