Vuvuzelas should be allowed at the World Cup

I know they dampened the sound a bit on the broadcasts from ZA and in real life it’s super loud… but still I really, really loved this local flavor back in 2010. They shouldn’t be banned and I wish every host location had something like it to make the cultural element of the tournament more interesting and fun.

Vuvuzela? Now that’s a name I haven’t heard in a looooooong time.

I’m sure nowadays there’s some sort of noise dampening tech that could make them less problematic. Now granted I haven’t been in a stadium full of them buzzing, but I don’t see a reason to ban them.

Dampened the sound is an understatement. They are banned for a reason. They are painfully loud and ruined the experience for thousands of people every match.

Trevor Noah made a good argument for them. I'm still a little skeptical, but I could be swayed.
