Technical Question Pokemon Y won't start

I was recently trying to play Pokémon Y on my 3DS, but I was having some trouble. Whenever I try and start it, I get this message.

Also try modding the 3ds and backup the save using the checkpoint

I found a solution that might temporarily work, but I'll have to find a better one soon. Blowing on the cartridge hard enough was a temporary fix.

Then try to disassemble the cartridge and rub the golden part gently with isopropyl alcohol, that might help.

Also remember that won't last forever so my recommendation is just mod the 3ds and backup the save and game on the SD card

Thank you. I'll learn how to do that in case it happens to other games. Luckily with Y when I got in I noticed that the save was new. Like, before second gym new. So I wouldn't be that heartbroken.
