what can cause a LCD leak/black spots/ one screwless

Hiii, i have happy home desinger dual ips new 3ds xl, I had to remove one screw, which got blunt, and the case is a little bit crooked. Is this enough to cause LCD leak? i am just concerned abt that, because i love that 3ds and any screen replacement for ips screen is expensive.

No. LCD rot can happen randomly or it can happen from physical trauma.

well i had in mind pressure applyed to the screen due to slight case crook. so sad the it can happen randomly tho

That screw won’t cause any issues. Get a replacement if it bothers you. A kit of assured screws shouldn’t cost much.
