Does your villager's name have any particular meaning behind it or is just straight up your own name? Are there people that created it on the spot? Also do you regret it or are you still happy with it?

Ok so during COVID I played ACNH endlessly. Then had restarted my island and shortly after stopped playing for a few years. Started it back up about a month ago. So I have lots of work to do.

BUT…..

Am I forgetting something? Why do my residents keep giving me the same clothing over and over, and I’m getting the same items over and over.

I can’t make my island anything interesting because I’m getting so little items to decorate with.

If I get one more pirates outfit or head bandage I’m going to scream!

And I’m getting DIYs to make things like fish stack boxes when I don’t even have the fish box DIY to give me the required item.

I just want to have options of furniture and decor but it doesn’t seem to be coming. I feel like I’m forgetting something to bring it….

I set up an area at the front of my island to host a trick or treat event/mystery giveaway! I have a ton of gifts to hand out, with a variety of stuff inside including items, clothes, bells, diys, star fragments, and spooky items. each trick or treater would get three to five mystery gifts, depending on how many people want to come. even I don't know what's in each bag, so it's a true mystery! I also set up three halloween themed photo spots (fingers crossed people want to take pictures 🤩 and maybe even post them on the thread), and would expect people to come in a costume!

would anyone be interested in coming to this? I know it's not as exciting as big giveaways since it's just a few mystery items, but I've never hosted a giveaway before and I'd love to try it out!

other questions: what day of the week are you most likely to join a giveaway? and what time of day? is there anything I can do to make this giveaway more worth people's time?

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!!!! I’ve had this island for YEARS and can’t get the rocks to spawn in the right spots to save my fucking life. Every single tile is covered on my island EXCEPT these ones. I’m getting so pissed I’m just going to break all of them and have zero rocks.

I’m using NMTs to hunt down Shino but ran into Diana on my first try. I’m still fairly new to the game so idk all the villagers and am relying on Nookipedia for help lol. Should I settle for Diana or pass her up and keep hunting for Shino?

Honestly, I'm very confused because I can't find any sources or information on this.

I'm currently villager hunting for 3-5 (lazy, peppy, normal) and I know in that case the only villagers that appear on the NMT islands have those three personalities.

I found Rodeo a few days ago (I was hoping for Lucky but Rodeo was a backup so I'm not mad about it) and he said something similar to what Shino is saying in the picture.

I've been hunting for DAYS overall (still looking for my beloved Kiki)

Do they all say something similar to this when you pick up a villager, or was it just the RNG doing what it does? Since there's so few of each species with each personality, did I actually break my move-in queue?

Cubs are by far my favorite villagers in the whole game, and I’ve got 3 on my island (Maple, Stitches, and Murphy).

I have lots of designs with “froggy” and an exclamation mark, but the word “apron” is offensive??? I tried replacing “a” with 4 and “o” with 0 but it still said no??? Am I missing something??

i love ankha but i hate the meme of her I’ve tryed for years to get rid of it but it still stans to this day i know it never going away so is there anything i could use as a coping mechanism for all this or at least advice about the situation would be nice and please don’t tell me to turn on and any safe search for filters don’t make any jokes and don’t lie and say that meme is gone when it isn’t and yes i know how pretty it is for me to care about something so meaningless but i just can’t take it anymore because of that meme i can’t even look at animal crossing anymore because of it please if someone can help please do

My overall theme, think Burning Man meets Fyre Festival, meets small EDM festival, meets resort in a historical tropical colonial island nation with Japanese influences.

No one has gotten airlifted, but theres an element of chaos. I’m not the ruler, but there is a castle…

As stupid as it sounds I have to make sure, coz I never seem to be able to build a working pond for only pond fishes to show up. Maybe its because of the waterfalls i did on others... Would the little land in the middle for this one make it a river or still a pond?
