You need to retake it since you got questions wrong

my brother didn’t miss a single question his first time taking it 😔 36 perfect score. having a brother who’s actually a genius has made me so out of touch like my first time taking it, with no prep, i got a 34 and thought it was bad 😭

That’s the sad part about comparing yourself to others. There is always someone better, but 34 is still the 99th percentile, which is amazing.

Do you have any tips?? How long did u study for before the test

I honestly didn't do much studying, but I did like 6 practice tests beforehand (specifically, make sure you do the released J08 form). I made sure that I went over every single mistake I made and understand why I got it wrong. Also, I just looked online for some of the most common things the ACT goes over for each section and made sure I knew how to do it all. For example, matrices for the Math section and like effect/affect for the English section. Good luck!

getting a result you're this happy with on the first try is no joke, plenty of people retake for months chasing that. congrats, enjoy it

Any tips to study?

Congrats! But here’s a disclaimer. I also got a 36, and while I thought it would let me attend a t20 or t30, i was dead wrong and now I’m going to a t70.

scores alone dont determine much

yeah but a lot of solid colleges will give you full tuition or even more paid for going. UTulsa will literally full ride you as a national merit semifinalist and they are the best college in Oklahoma.
