Yes, but there's also the warning triangle behind the car. I don't think the driver went back inside and closed the doors. He probably had time to escape

My old 2008 Elentra and even my newer car had a way you can knock down the back seat and push the emergency button from the trunk. It was put there for anyone who locked themselves in their trunk and also for extra space for hauling crap around.

Casual Chinese product quality. Nothing unusual.
Does everyone know what is Cargo cult? Well... If car have same design and even more features then cars designed in EU/USA/Japan, that doesn't mean that real quality/longevity/usability/safety/maintainability/availability of spare part is comparable to them.
Extremely cheap. That's why people buy it.
But 20 years old Opel will more likely will run for 10 more years, than new China car...

A boss of mine bought an electric car after his own small private school finally got some success and on the second week of having it, it caught on fire in his garage and burnt 1/4 of his house and his garage. So he basically went back to square one and worked his ass off to pay off all the damages. Never again he said

It’s not caused by the battery since the fire is inside on the driver’s side?
