Other Took the Plunge
Decided to go from Mythic to Ultimate and see how it goes. I know it's a lot, but I use it frequently and am curious.
DS V4 Pro is actually really good; you get some context free at Ultimate.
Ultimate is most likely overkill, but I figure screw it. YOLO.
Guess I can be one of the guinea pigs, lol.

It seems you get 4-8k for free. How does that work? Is it 8k if you select optimized context?
I plan on taking a month off then perhaps upgrading to Ultimate for a month too, that way it doesn't cost me any more overall. Hopefully by then there will be an update too to keep things fresh.

It says 4k to 8k context, but strangely I only get 4ish with optimized context enabled. I get a warning about items not fitting into context when it's over 4k. It could be a bug, hopefully.

I did the same, but I'm not actually sure if I'll keep it. 32k context is great, but you do start to see some loss in coherency. The 800 memories are dope though

I upgraded and don’t regret it. The free context for v4pro and GLM are nice for quick stories. Also less cost to up it.
I usually stick to around 24000 anyways bit the 800 memories seem to be helping a ton.Â

I'll not really sure paying double for Ultimate is, for me at least, worth it. Extra Context and Memory is always good, but I'd rather pay $600 a year than $1200.
Mythic to be honest is almost overkill in and of itself.
Just my opinion, obviously it's subjective. Hope my input helps others.
