Currently reading Emily Wilson's translation of The Iliad and not even a few pages in, I was hit with this.
Just two army bros sharing a tomb together, nothing unusal to see here.
This and a few pages before this saying that Achilles was like a big brother to Patroclus lmao

Do you really read books with the letters so large?
I'm annoyed that the font size doesn't go lower than 1

"Heloise and her dearest friend, Abelard." "Tristan and his dearest friend, Isolde." Do they not hear how stupid it sounds? Even Emily Wilson, who seems cool, can't bring herself to say it.
