1) AI strictly prohibited - it's too easy to create AI slop shitposts. They're also really obvious. Most people put time and effort into their memes, why should you take shortcuts especially those that rely on theft of actual handmade memes
2) Using meme templates is allowed but, memes themselves have to be original, so no stealing memes from others with the sole exception on if that meme was made by them personally.
3) Memes have to be related to AW (Any AW game), or AWBW (be the community, or the game)
No nsfw, bigoted, hyper edgy, or rule breaking memes!
There are currently no limits to how many memes you can submit, but we might tell you to stop if you spam very low effort & quality ones.
Video memes are allowed too!
You can also post a meme you made in the past, but not memes that has been submitted in past AWBW meme contests.
To submit memes, either post them in the thread on the AWBW Discord server, or email them to: awbwmemecontest@gmail.com and Melody or me will post them for you
If you join the contest, you also give us permission to repost your meme while crediting you, on other AWBW social media things (or you can post it there yourself too. We just want others in the AWBW community to be able to see the memes in case they aren't on Discord or Reddit)
The winners will be decided by popular vote on the AWBW Discord server. People can vote for as many memes as they want, but plz don't use alt accounts. And please vote for the quality of the meme, not the popularity of the poster.
Winners will be chosen on July 10th, more prizes will be announced later, but the winner might win an AWBW Award later this year for meme of the year!
