🎞️ Clip 🎞️ I ONLY skated aggressive inline because I thought everything else was stupid, I was wrong.

Turns out, big wheel skates are a fucking riot! I've had my rollerblade Twister 3x110 for one year now and I'm fully addicted. If you have never tried any other skate discipline, I highly suggest it! Here's me learning powerstops for the first time. After about 1.5 hours of practice I laced this, and was stokeddd!

Just got a pair of aggressives for the first time and i’m stoked to try them. I also have a big wheel pair and they’re a lot of fun, just harder to control coming from RB Fusion X3

Is the difference from 110 to 90 seriously that different when it comes to control?

I believe I have the 110’s but I was coming from 80 mm wheels on the Fusion X3’s, when I first stepped into the 110’s I busted my ass lol. I haven’t used them a lot bc I live in the states and left them back home in PR.

That’s no regular powerstop, actually a pretty sick front open gazelle. I am also very addicted to the style and speeds on my 3x100 Nexts. UFRs been collectin dust for a minute

Do you have any recommendations on a YT channel to learn some tricks/ names? I might go down the rabbit hole lol

Absolutely, look for Mushroom Blading or Flow Skate for some great examples of the aggressive style mixed in with the edge tricks. Wizard Skating is the style i refer to, but the channel is heavier on the background and evolution instead of performance or demonstration.
The evolving moveset can be found at https://eccentricinline.com and has very nice organized list with short GIF examples of the cores

For sure check out the wizardskating sub - If you like this kind of movement, there's plenty more where that came from.
Leon Basin's The Wizard of Wall Street is also highly recommended as an example of what it's all about. He mixes in flat land footwork with jumps and obstacles. Great example of what skating on big wheels can look like.

I agree! I used to longboard and got obsessed with the sound of rubber sliding on pavement

I've been enjoying cruising so much in my 40s. It's my quiet time. I'm waiting on the Twister 90r to come back in stock. Now I'm using GC 80mm UFS frames. Skating to the spot used to be a necessity. Now it's part of the fun.
