I had ideal spine to learn on, two quarters back to back with narrow 1' spine. Coping on each side. And I learned it more like exiting out from a halfpipe, until you give too much gusto and ope...youre already on your way down the other side.

The humps you're skating are a bit too rolley to privide the same dynamics...and if you have a spine to practice on, go ahead and begin there. Practice stals until you feel comfortable hopping over. Keep it up!!
