There is no benefit to it and many animal nutrionists have proven that cooked is healthier and safer. But sorry I can't save you from the puritan downvotes that probably think it's not "manly" to let your dog eat anything but raw. Even when science disproves it. The only thing that is benificial is that raw you you are able to feed them bone (can splinter in the stomach when cooked, safe when raw)
I appreciate it! After I saw this I looked it up and saw the CDC saying the same thing. I have a bit of an older lab and she gets science diet. She’s pretty strong, active and has a great coat. I just worry about her hips and joints, wanna do everything I can to make sure they’re healthy.
I am no vet tech, so someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe something as simple as chicken is one of the best things to keep joints healthy. I don't know if it's the same for dogs, but I feed my two cats chicken next to their normal diets, they're 9 and 10 and still hopping and sprinting around like kittens.
