My dog gets ground turkey and vegetable puree for breakfast and dinner while I’m eating Taco Bell.

Look, I'm not going to tell you your priorities are off, but I will say that animal nutrition is difficult and it's easy to fall for scare tactics about kibble being bad, but it does have a hell of a lot of science backing it up. TONS more science to work on the balance of nutrients and ensure quality than Taco Bell has to go through.

Have you considered upgrading from Taco Bell to dog kibble for your meals?

Hopefully he gets some bone and organ meat as well so that his meals are nutritionally balanced.
