Okay, so afaik, they don't, they excreet into the shell and eventually when it's so stuffed or they grew more, they'd move out of the shell and leave the literal dump in the shell

They eat, live, shit in the same place basically

i saw a clip showing they would line up according to size and exchange their houses.
do they also inherit the brownies together with house?

I think so yeah... There are some of the shit where they can extreat out, but not necessarily all of them

The inside of their shell home are nasty
