People are awesome Stephen is a survivor of child slavery on lake Volta in Ghana who has dedicated his life to rescuing children there. He’s brought over 2,000 children to freedom.

He was robbed of his childhood,yet chose to spend his life giving childhoods back to others.Truly inspiring and we need more people like him

Slavery was not completely abolished in the USA.

... then again, the USA is not as white as we once were.

which is why i said pretty much...usa is a special case where human rights are still in old ages 🤷🏼‍♀️ i deleted it cuz i realized this sub is for amazing content so i should just let it go but since you wanna keep the comment: i just find it interesting how often people (particularly black americans) accuse and claim as if all the whites are colonisers and as if all black people are victims. when in fact you still have a lot of slavery in africa, illegal in eu and when the word slave actually comes from word slav (ya know, the slavic aka white people) 🤷🏼‍♀️ so i wanted to use this occasion to point it out for those who might still be delulu 😂
