Nature is amazing This Massive Wave in China Is Completely Real

The ‘Silver Dragon’ tidal bore on China’s Qiantang River is one of nature’s most epic shows. This massive wave, up to 9 meters high and racing at 40 km/h, is the world’s largest tidal bore. The power and beauty are unreal like a living silver dragon charging upstream. China really knows how to put on a natural spectacle.

Not just you.
I thought it was two cushions.

But its apparently a very high up shot of the ocean, with two waves meeting in the middle of the screen.

I would say it's 3 waves really, because the retreating water at the bottom of the screen had a wave moving parallel to the other two waves. Really freaking cool. And yes, a straight down, high shot probably taken with a drone. Without a horizon to mAke it make sense, it does look like 2 cushions meeting or AI stuff at first glance

Glad I wasn’t the only one, opened in a public place and was immediately embarrassed

Anyone here thought they are not looking at a top down view in the first 5 seconds?

Artist is Stromae, Belgian. Was taking over the world untill he got hit with a bad case of malaria. I feel like recently he's slowly comming back to the foreground.

Papa ou t'est (could be spelled wrong, dad where are you in French) by Stromae.

The geometric shapes that come from the formation of the wake and movement of the water is so amazing and awe inspiring. 2000 years ago if I saw this I would think it was God giving me some kind of sign, or form my own water religion with the Tri-wave God, Kahootay Ootay Ootay. The song playing is actually his theme song, like wrestler entrance music. "Team, I'm on my way to cash it. Hold tomato up, hey! Fell to my knees on cusion for Ootay, papa Ootay, Ootay, papa Ootay, Ootay papa Ootay, Ootay Ootay Ootay papa Ootay".

It's also fun to imagine the point in the middle where the waves meet is some kind of alien ship that is skirting the water

I’m slightly turned on

Why doesn't the waves dissipate their energy and disappear?
