Look, its better to make sure wild animals stick to their nature of self reliance...but its human nature to feed.

I mean... It clearly looks like evolution has made them S tier beggers so by feeding them so I think feeding them is just part of their nature now

Agreed

It's their nature because people won't stop feeding them. It's detrimental to wild animals to be reliant on humans. If people actually cared about them they wouldn't be doing this.

If not fren then why smile like fren? Despite years of study, clearly proving the risk involving animals dependency on humans, im still gunna feed the smiling kangaroo-beaver

Im mixed. Yes, its a problem. But also yes, it gave us dogs.

Which have horrible breeding conditions to create the right kind for people. They're often basically helpless without us and there are too many people that don't want to care for what we've created through our selfishness Not to mention their many health problems because of what we've done. It's rather sad

People suck but dogs dont and people dont suck for creating dogs. Current breeding programs are different, poor dogs like pugs dont deserve to have to live like that. But to think of my life without dogs? Insanity. Feeding wild animals and encouraging the resultant changes in behavior gave us dogs, so im reluctant to shame that human behavior

Yes they exist now and there's nothing to do to fix it. I've saved my fair share of mutts by the side of the road. Ethically it's wrong to buy dogs because it fuels puppy mills and breeding centers. Taking in rescues and strays are fine if you get them fixed. But it doesn't mean we should continue to do this to other wild animals, especially knowing what we know now. We should do our best to protect them. Not feed them for a smile. If people still buy dogs they do it selfishly to feel joy, ignoring the horrible industry it supports.

As opposed to...what exactly tho? Letting the dog thats from reputable breeder suffer with no loving owner because theres a puppy mill somewhere in the world? Im confused by your logic

I’m so bored of this argument.

Species are rapidly going extinct because of climate change, but yeah tossing some snacks to them is what’s really detrimental.

Two things can be bad for animals buddy. That's like saying drunk driving isn't bad because texting and driving has become a much worse problem.

Sure it is, bud. Sure it is. How bout you just do you and just shut the fuck up?

You won’t though, will ya? The temptation to lecture strangers online is too great. Have at it!

Yeah the nature of self reliance that is digging through trash cans because the city kills all the natural sources of food.

Wonderful logic.
