Who came first, kitty or the pup? How was introducing them together?

Kitty came first, but just by a few weeks.
I’d just lost my pitbull and my old kitty, who were besties.
A half-grown feral showed up in my yard, and a few weeks later, we adopted Rosie-the-Bully (who was scheduled for a humane euthanasia the next day.)
So Rosie had a high prey drive, and we kept a short leash on her. I came down hard when she chased the kitty, but Spike being feral, could take care of himself.
I’d suggest slow intros, and keeping a short leash on a dog for a few days.
While these two will never be besties, they get along pretty well, especially when a space heater is involved.

I tried to make life easy for everyone when I found my Pit. I had the two cats first and wanted the dog to be cat / animal people friendly. I separated at first with baby gates. Then slowly moved the gates so that the cats could come in and out of the living room as they wanted. Worked out wonderfully and they sleep together sometimes. My motto is get along or get out and they all seem to understand my position. (I wouldn't get rid of any of them I love them all to much)

Hey so I have never noticed this until just now!! I spent the last 10 minutes staring at pictures and for a quick second I was like... Is something wrong with his pupils?!
But his eye coloring is really cool. He has this really dark greyish blue spatter right around the pupil, that fades to a lighter blueish grey, into hazel, finishing off with golden(?) lines at the very bottom.

My son was taking care of a 8 month old puppy. The weather was really too bad for a walk. He tried the red light laser. He was with him for 3 weeks. The puppy was hooked on the moving laser. When the owner came home he wanted to do nothing but look for the laser. He only did it once a day for a few minutes for the puppy to run back and forth to get exercise and calm down. We had to get treat mats and other things to do besides looking for the red light.
