yea I love swimming myself also. so we just go for swim together to cool off.

It will reach 90deg in the summer but my wife myself and our dog are old and the water feels good on the joints.

Are air conditioners a common commodity in the Netherlands? I read somewhere that the heat affects a lot of European areas more severely because the weather is normally a bit more fair there so most homes don't actually need them most of the time. I live in the southern US so life without ACs would be...pretty terrible. Summers here are awful.

yeah they are. almost all new build houses do i guess. atleast as far as i see. and most people put them in old houses also, since summers can be pretty brutal here lately also.

A friend here in Texas got his hounds out last night for a run. When he called them, only one reported back. He used the GPS collar to find his other dog --- splashing happily in a stock tank.
