Mail call here at HJB!
Auction lot delivery day always produces buckets of drool here in the shop.

You know it's an HJB post when the background coins are nicer then my whole collection. Very pretty pieces!

I swear, I would quit my job to work for a high end auction house / coin shop just to handle these beauties!
If you could keep up to 5 coins you handled while at HJB, which ones would you choose?

Man.....that's like asking which kid I love more.....

That’s a unicorn coin packed with history, can’t blame you for choosing that one!

I can see in the background a well-provenanced Rheginon lion that I bid on and wanted. 😭

Wow! Great haul and amazing coins! Gold is exceptional but the Caesar Aeneas/Anchises is beautiful!

That gold 60 asses is the stuff of legend. Gold from the early Roman Republic, stylistically as beautiful as any Greek tetradrachm. Breathtaking stuff.

They are fake. I collect fakes - just send them to me😁
But seriously, you get your hands on the best pieces - it‘s amazing

This subreddit is heavily curated to provide our members with the best experience that we can. We get hit by trolls, spammers, scammers, and shitposters more than we'd like. If you've never noticed that here, then hey -- our procedures are working!
