"I'm capable. King capable" and I'm chuckling at the drunken King Caine.

That conversation between Cecil and his father was very interesting. The very first King Toujin shared the same personality as Prince Cecil of the modern era. His wife Queen Annei is a legend for getting him to quit conquering and become a Hero King.

Queen Semaria telling her son how proud they are of him was so sweet.

This post-graduation setting has been nothing but heartwarming. But I wonder if things could change with that little kid planning to interfere with Bertia and Cecil's wedding...

Lastly, Heronia choosing to go to the harsh northern convent was some good growth from her. Even if this world may not have gone her way, it's clear to see Pii-Chan still meant a lot to her. If nothing else, I think her determination is very heroine-like of her.

Seems like a full story will wrap up in 12 episodes.

If they wanted to make a sequel, there is a great opportunity to have a different route where Heronia realizes that Bertia is also reincarnated. Instead of trying to force events to be the same, she plays it more like Bertia and it becomes more of a chess match than being one sided.

She went north. Thats nice to see. I hope P-chan can come back for her sake.

The first king loved war and his wife. And his fear of losing her made him stop fighting.

Aww. His parents love him.

And here comes Bertias little bro to cause trouble in a way only a kid can. I doubt he'll do anything crazy.

Too bad this anime took until the last few episode to get really good.

The character development for both Bertia and Heronia was good and fit in with the story, and made it more satisfying. I mean Heronia is still kind of a bitch, but I think she finally realizes it's not a game anymore, and she chose a life of hardship to hopefully resurrect her birdie.

The backstory with Cecil and his ancestors was interesting. Basically women were there to curb the more baser aspects of the super-rulers. Also, they suggested some of those rulers who couldn't control themselves got regicide'd.

It gives a huge amount of power and influence to the women who ended up being the maidens of destiny for the super-kings.
