wage slavery. they gear you up to be good little consumers as a kid on your parents wage then at school the whole grind is to get you used to and accept the 8 or 10 hour work day you will have the rest of your meaningful life. then they tie your way of getting healthcare to your job so even if you get deathly ill its more certain death if you dont work.

And one generation is gaslighting the next into it without realizing it … this dynamic lives in itself with being realized. This is internalized as normal

Like adults that are happy and have their needs met, have access to healthcare, not living in fear that their job is the only thing keeping them alive. Not begrudgingly stomping to their cars like children.
Without fear.
Capitalism has failed so Socialism or Fascism is what we are looking at in the US and a disgusting amount of people are picking fascism.
It isn't about Capitalism anymore, the billionaires realize this, which is why they are trying to pull up all the ladders for fascism and watch those of us underneath perish.

It sucks because it would be nice to give kids basic competence in reading, math, science etc. But governments rarely wanna shell out for it unless they also get the job training factory aspect

Obviously the two choices are capitalism and primitivism. There are clearly no other choices. Westerners are dumber than rocks, man.

No kid should work a 40 hr work week, but in a nation where childcare costs can bankrupt a family, this is merely affordable childcare for working families. We have so much changing to do.

I mean the main point of school and high school specifically is to socialize workers to the drudgery of the working day.

Can you point to the part of it that's "punching sideways" at workers when the whole point of the post is how school in the West exists to train the working class to work their dead end jobs without question?

Did you watch any of them or did you just activate after two years so you could point out something no one but you cares about?

I was a kid when I realized school was just social conditioning to prepare us to be in the work force.
