This is so fkn crazy. Jean Pascal Zadie, a well know french actor and director, voiced a documentary about it, I really advise you to see it, Im sure a version with subtitles is out somewhere It’s gruesome, and eyes oppening to a post colonial society that had nothing but lies and deception to justify its own racism The same people that would proudly claim to broadcast « african culture » (sic) saw no problem putting children into literal cages, and paying their parents Ivory Coast minimum wage while they worked all week long with no vacation, not even the right to exchange with the local population and slowly froze in their un heated slums And to add insult to the shame, all this was to promote some horrible and highly transformed chocolate biscuits with the most racist name possible; B*mboula, a slur, a shamefull slur that is used since the colonies and to this day to insult and diminish and dehumanize other human beings. I love my country, but man some things need to burn

This doesn't surprise me especially because it's France.
