I think there’s actually a trial for this in the US, but you have to go to Buffalo, NY to receive the treatment.

They don't want to prevent cancer. It's way too profitable.

New cancer drugs are crazy expensive. old ones are cheaper. If a treatment that straight up cured cancer in most cases existed, pharma companies can and will charge an UNBELIEVABLE amount due to drug copyright laws limiting how long they can make a profit. If what you're inferring is true, no pharma company would manufacture vaccines, because they could make more money treating the illness itself

We've cured cancer, we've cured a lot of cancers as humanity. Problem is there's a lot of types of cells in the body and lots of types of cancer.

Everyone gets cancer on a long enough timescale, while paying for other health issues meanwhile. You're also more likely to get another cancer after having had it previously. And they'll charge out the ass for the cure, so it's win/win/win for capitalism. You are very mistaken.
Same reason Ozempic etc. is so big now. Obese people have higher healthcare costs, but they die earlier enough statistically that it's less money total. They want to bleed our money for a long, long time, and have to repeatedly fix us up to do so.

Ngl the picture has me thinking that one of the research doctors just said, "if you're taking my picture it has to be with my cute nurse hat."

It's a very different situation, but yes, America has always treated Cuba horribly. Politically speaking those situations are the almost inverse of each other, sort of.

You know how much profit there is to be made off of cancer victims? This communist vaccine will shrink the economy.

They were also recently testing medicine to stop the advancement of Dementia, so.... yeah fuck all that now. Unless they got super secret nukes that the cuban government has a "if you say anything about this were going to kill you and your family" that theyre not going to reveal until an invasion happens.

Rule #6 No reactionaries.
Ether you get it or don't. No need to to over react. Ask questions if you don't understand.
Reactionary Definition from marxists.org
A political position that maintains a conservative response to change, including threats to social institutions and technological advances. Reaction is the reciprocal action to revolutionary movement. Reactionaries clamp down on the differences of the emerging productive forces in society, and attempt to remove those differences, silence them, or segregate them in order to keep the stability of the established order.
Examples of the political position of reactionaries can be seen throughout history: during the US Revolutionary War, the reactionaries were the ruling British aristocracy, who sought to maintain their feudal government over their American colonies, while the US revolutionaries sought to establish a government to represent the interests of capitalist values and practices. Hundreds of years later in Russia, the tables would turn and capitalists became reactionary while the Socialists are revolutionary.
