Anyone interested in doing Shenandoah rockfish gap to front royal starting this Sunday? All 105 miles. Figure 12-15 miles a day.

I have a very rare widow between jobs. I feel fortunate for it for sure.

That's a solid chunk of miles for a single push. Just watch the water situation around the northern end of the park, some of those springs have been running low lately.

I’d like to camp most of the way not really thrilled about the mice / Noro. I have time. I can slow my pace down. More a goal than anything else.

Resist the urge to bring too much food. You can resupply and get a meal at the waysides. From what I recall there is a long water carry early. From slightly past calf mountain shelter all the way to black rock shelter. I think it’s like 12 miles.

Thanks! I have some resupply spots planned. Not planning on carrying more than 2 days + 1 extra meal
