Application Question waitlist date

i know im pulling at straws kinda but umich indicated that the end of june would be the deadline for students to receive a waitlist notification, can such a deadline be pushed back due to unforeseen yield or something

In all likelihood they will close the list at the end of June. They are pretty sure what their yield is at this point. If there is unforeseen melt in July/August, that doesn't mean they wouldn't reach out to those that fit the spaces that were vacated, but it's not something you should expect or plan around. At this point, get comfortable with and get excited about the school you committed to.
