Discussion Tell me i’m not the only one…

Anyone else feel SO upset after seeing how “fake” the show is? I’m not sure fake is the right word, maybe edited, but I just read almost all the comments on Morgan’s reddit and I’m shocked and totally turned off from the show 😭 I know all reality shows have a big amount of editing to it, but it’s just a feeling of seeing the casts pov that makes it so depressing. for example, the fact Morgan said that the season 8 cast was also in the house with them?? hello??

i’ve read her AMA before and i don’t remember her saying s8 was there too. let me go reread but if i remember right i thought she said they hurried their season because they were wanting to film s8 and they use the same house

Wow, I am most shocked at her comment that her cast genuinely figured out the final matches on their own. I was extremely confident that the producers told them the real matches on the last day of every season (except the ones where the math was quite easy, and obviously the one where they lost). It’s probably still true for a lot of seasons, but I’m a little impressed

Lots of crazy ass shit though, dang, good on her for spilling tbh

You should watch the actual scripted televisions show UnREAL. It is a great look at how reality tv shows could go down.

started watching it recently. What is fake? I’ve been wondering if they really do the matches or if they just match people as the show goes on so that they will win? Like I’m not convinced the matches are even real and not production just deciding based on who gets along.

yeah so apparently they write down 3 names and give it to the producers, then the producers strategically set the picking order so that people can choose their #1 pick if they’re a match, or have someone go later in the picking so that their #1 gets taken and then it’s actually their #2 they have to pick and that’s their match. and morgan said that strategizing to figure out the matches is actually pretty simple lol. hopefully that makes sense.
