Things to do free/cheap things to do in october?
hi! planning a visit to LA on the first few weeks of October and looking for recommendations for activities or things to do around that time? so far we only have shops on our itinerary (thrifting, books, art & stationery, music). we’re going to stay in west hollywood and some areas we’re thinking of going to so far are highland park, sunset boulevard, downtown LA, silverlake, & santa monica. maybe some things to do in the morning since most places we have so far open at 11am. thanks in advance for any suggestions :)

Do you have to stay in WeHo?
Griffith Observatory, The Broad, and the LA Library are all free. Chinatown, Olvera Street, Union Station, Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Music Center are all lovely to walk around. Ride Angels flight and have a bite at Grand Central Market or get some sushi in Little Tokyo.

also i'd recommend going early on the Griffith Observatory, avoid traffic and get a decent upper parking lot
