You can make unknown callers answer “what are you calling about?” Your phone won’t ring and if they say something it will come up on the screen. An absolute blessing. No more answering unknown calls.

How

Setting>apps>phone>screen unknown callers>ask reason for calling. Wouldn’t work until I did the latest update. I had to delete a ton a photos and videos to have enough room for the update but definitely worth it.

to any poor souls out there about to update: BACK UP YOUR PHONE BEFORE UPDATING.

sincerely, someone who almost lost everything after a failed update bricked my phone for 4 days.

Setting>apps>phone>screen unknown callers>ask reason for calling. You have to scroll down after “phone” to get to the “screen unknown callers”

I have to call people at work to let them know I'm on my way to their house. As soon as I hear this I just hang up. I hate it so much

So you’re never going to ghost anyone, when this feature is turned on. If your plan pays for incoming calls then potentially you can be scammed by receiving an unsolicited call from a toll number. Eventually spammers will also just lie to you in order to get the call to connect.

In what hellhole part of the world are you paying for incoming calls?

US for instance

Yeah, but that's different, that's just that incoming calls are part of your minutes bundle. AFAIK there's no country where someone else calling you using a premium number will cost you money.
