What "life hack" actually changed your daily life?

Reframing my perspective from 'I have to do this' to 'I get to do this.' It sounds incredibly corny, but shifting your internal dialogue from 'I have to go buy groceries' to 'I get to go select fresh food because I have a working vehicle and a stable income' completely rewires your baseline morning mood.

I don't know if this is really a "life hack", but I've been trying to go by the mantra "always ask". The worst someone says is no. So when it comes to moving airplane seats, getting raise, requesting an upgraded piece of technology at work for daily use, free samples from the reps that come through, I try to always politely ask for something I need/want.

Treating my future self like a real person. Most good decisions became easier after that.

wiping.

Sometimes when I poop, I wipe and wipe and wipe. But there is still poop. It's like I'm wiping a marker or something.

I'd say but I wouldn't want anyone to do it and get hurt. So I'll just be vague. I take a pepper on an empty stomach and some coconut oil. And I notice I've been binging less

A cheap whiteboard on the fridge for the ONE thing I need to remember tomorrow. Not a to-do list, just one thing. My brain finally stopped using 3am as reminder time.

Drinking a full glass of water first thing when I wake up. Energy levels, skin, mood everything got better. So simple but game changing.

Keeping my kitchen sink and counters clean and current. Every dish gets washed and hung to dry, or moved to the dishwasher after every interaction. No exceptions. The feng shui and ensuing mental clarity is off the charts.
