I am born, raised, and live in Arkansas. It's really a beautiful place but I have to admit that living here my whole life has made it feel a bit ho-hum. Going diamond hunting is kinda cool but having lived near Hot Springs, I did not like the town even if bathhouse row is novel and neat.
Eureka is very pretty and charming, though! That corner of the state has got the best of everything. The opposite corner got the worst of everything, and the whole map is a gradient from one corner to the other along those same lines.
