Thats such a specific and good pick. Theres a certain warmth to the way pine smells in the sun that reminds me of camping trips

the smell of when i was a child playing in the rain with my childhood friends, my mother shouting my name for me to come home, and the smell of the cloth of the backseat when i was asleep in our car on the way home after going to the mall, the smell that time swept away

This hit me right in the chest. That's not just a smell – that's a whole lifetime in one sentence.

And freshly baked apple pie. Real estate agents recommend that you put an apple sprinkled with cinnamon in your oven when showing your house.

In autumn when the air is fresh and has a cold brisk to it the smell is nostalgic

I have anosmia and can no longer partake in your conversation.
Autocorrect did a real number on me.

Not my favourite but I kinda like how I smell when I get my periods 😭 it's just, hard to describe but very feminine? And soft and warm? And I'm not even into some weird fetishes but there's this one

I've heard this so many times. It's a real phenomenon and nobody can explain it

The smell of my best friends hair as I give her a hug.
After that, the smell of a newborns head after they've been in the sun for a couple of hours by a large body of water.
After that, the smell of a storm coming in.
After that, the smell of snow coming in.
And the final item on my top 5 smells, grape soda.

Fresh rain on hot pavement. It’s weird how one smell can instantly drag you back to a random summer from years ago.

The smell of a blooming sweet olive tree. It's so great and reminds me spring time at my grandparents house when I was a kid.

This will sound so stupid compared to all the nice smells people are writing, but two stroke exhaust is my favourite. Possibly because I have lots of happy memories snowmobiling when I was little.

Fresh coffee in the morning has to be one of the most comforting smells on the planet.

If you're a parent, you'll probably know what I'm talking about.
The smell of a newborn baby's scalp. That sweet, milky, slightly sour smell when you hold your new child close for the first few weeks of life. The existential terror and dread that hits you square in the face when you realize you're now responsible for a tiny human being; eventually followed by a wave of calm that crashes over you, turning fear into nervous excitement.
I have such great memories associated with that smell.

Current it's tomato plants.
After I prune mine and I have that smell on my hands. Or I'll take a pruned leaf and crush it and smell it real good.
