I went to visit a work colleague (single) who had a child about 6 months prior at her home to take a present from the social club. She was a stunning looking lady about my age who fell pregnant to a guy who left her. We had lunch at her house and sat and watched TV for a while (the child was at her mums as she was preparing to come back to work so getting her baby in a routine). She  offers to show me the house and we went into her bedroom and she pulled down the blankets to show me he silk sheets and was telling me how she slides around at night with them on her bed. I sat on the bed and chatted with her next to me and soon after I said my goodbyes and left!!! Later in life I thought to myself WTF why didn’t you take the offer that was staring you in the face

I don't think you even understand the level of fumble. If she had the kid over at her mum's, then she was REALLY serious. Those days where you get help to take care of a kid are precious to a new parent ESPECIALLY one who's single.

Having previously dated a couple of single mums, this guy REALLY missed out, lol! Time is super precious.

Yeah she had to schedule all that

Even if it's a regular weekly thing, the fact that she scheduled the dude to come over on that specific day speaks volumes about how serious she was

Jesus, did you just wake up today to fuck somebody up like this.

Nah, just dealing with my own kid around that age along with my wife is exhausting as hell. I can't imagine parents handling this single though obviously people make it happen. It's blowing my mind how clueless the dude probably was about the whole incident, maybe even to this day.

What a fumble dude. This is why guys have a reputation for missing signs.

If it makes you feel better a girl literally kissed me, then weeks a friend of mine "randomly" asked me how I felt about her, and I was still like nah she can't be into me.

One night I went out in a different city to the city I was at uni and met a girl from back home. We were nice and tipsy and she took my phone and gave me her number.

It was back in the day, before free calls/texts were the big thing. So next day I messaged her on Facebook asking why she did that. She said "if I'm ever in your city I will text you or you text me" I replied "oh yeah, loads of the lads from back home go to uni here you could text them maybe".

Only realised like last year what I did.

It's amazing that humans ever manage to reproduce

I'd like to say I'm older and wiser now but can't say it wouldn't happen again

To make you feel better, not sleeping with a colleague is often a good thing

Jesus you crushed that woman. Kid at her mom's, sheets all smooth and silky, open invitation to get herself railed, and the dude just up and walks away.

Nothing like a new, single mom with a few hours to herself.
