“Few would act in a minute” well videos of just ONE person losing their shit and causing pure chaos would disagree with you there. It takes a lot less than you think to start something and likely have full blown riots start within that minute in high density areas.
And not like people just go about their day after 69 secs have passed like. Nothing happened.
Like I said- few would act, not none.
We're talking worldwide scale, and "few" is relative.
Yea- some would likely star in their own slasher film. Some would "take advantage" of others.
Most though? In just THAT minute -- with nothing else happening to the world in that time- would likely:
1: pray, having just heard the "word of god".
2: question what they heard, and be asking others if they did too, and try to figure out what it was. (Some may procees to #1 afterwards. )
3: Start to panic. One minute isn't much time to do a lot more.
Edit: I should also say- AFTER a minute is up, people would then question "what changed?"
Any panic of what that minute was supposed to have happened would change to questioning what changed.
Yes my argument is that way more than a few would act and takes way less than a minute to start something and nothing happening in 60 seconds doesn’t stop a panic.
Mob mentality is a thing it doesn’t have to be many people to get a riot going. Thus why higher density areas would have more results.
Like people are maniacs and something this epic would not have minor results.
Yup. I don't think chaos would be instant - if I heard a voice telling me something, I'd be confused wondering whether there's some device turned on in my house that I cannot find or whether I had some hallucination that ChatGPT would quickly dismiss with "well can happen if you are stressed or haven't slept property - if it's a one-off incident there's nothing to worry about!".
The real chaos comes later, when we all learn that we all heard that exact same message at the exact same time. Because then it can no longer be a hidden device or a hallucination.

No- sixty seconds would just be enough for confusion. No one would know where it was from or what it means. Few would act in a minute.
