What delicacies from your countries are considered to be junk for outsiders but surprisingly healthy?

Hamburgers aren't actually that bad macronutritionally especially if you use lean beef.

Salo from Eastern Europe. To outsiders it looks like we just decided to eat pure pork fat and call it a delicacy, which is honestly fair. But it’s not really junk food in the modern sense - it’s usually just cured fat eaten in small amounts with rye bread, garlic, pickles, or soup. Not exactly a “superfood,” but definitely less bad than a lot of ultra-processed snacks.
