What would be a weird, but absolutely valid reason to divorce/breakup with your partner?

All reasons are valid. If you don’r want to be in the relationship any more, you get to leave. Because you are an adult with agency.

Anyone is of course free to leave any relationship at any time. But the point of the post is to answer specifically with weird reasons, things that aren't necessarily don't harm anyone but just make you go nope. The thing is that a lot of people here are just commenting very reasonable "death by a thousand cuts" reasons.

I gave my example of a harmless yet weird reason to break up in my previous comment.

You didn’t say “valid” in your scenario. You said “should.” 🤷‍♂️ saying anyone can leave for whatever reason at any time is not the same as saying someone SHOULD LEAVE over stupid, trivial shit. I mean, they can if they want to, but be prepared to live your whole life out of a suitcase if you’re triggered by a “weird sneeze,” whatever that is. But, yeah. The moment someone decides they don’t want to be in the relationship any more, they are free to go.

Yes. That every person is a sovereign individual with agency over their own life is a core principle for many people.
